YOUTH REPRESENTATION
Our youth representation practice entails representing youth who are subject to a dependency matter. A dependency matter is a legal proceeding in which the child has been alleged to be abandoned, neglected, abused, or there are no available parent(s) or guardian(s) to care for the child. We represent youth in these proceedings by standing up (advocating) for the youth’s wishes (stated interest), ensuring their rights are protected, and their voices are heard on matters involving placement, visitation, school, services, adoption, guardianship, reinstatement of parental rights, extended foster care, and more.
